The solar panels allow you to heat the pool water without any running costs. This is because the technology is based on harnessing the energy of the sun to raise the temperature of the water.

Economy
In a country like Portugal where the level of sun exposure is quite high, the installation of solar panels can prove to be a successful investment and it quickly pays off.

Installation
The panels are mounted on a part of the available land, facing south with a slope between 30º and 40º, to maximize the sun exposure. No modification of the filtration system is required, only a bypass is made in the piping so that the amount of water passing inside the panels is controlled.

Structure
The panels are made up of narrow, high-density polyethylene tubes that heat up with sun exposure. When passing through these tubes, the heat is transferred to the water that thus retains energy, returning warm to the pool.

Control
The temperature control is done through a system of valves, which allow you to choose the percentage of water that will pass through the panels before returning to the pool. This adjustment is made according to the solar intensity and the heating needs. The use of an isothermal cover associated with the panels creates a very advantageous system, since during the night the cover avoids the losses of temperature and during the day the panels are in charge of heating the water of the swimming pool.
